I woke up today with a brand new motivation. Maybe it was because I couldn't feel any worse than I did last night, so today had to be better. Last night, I messed around with some of the CD's that I got from my wedding planning course and used some of the templates as if I were planning someone else's wedding. I now have a written budget and a To do list. My dad suggested it and I couldn't sleep... so it's all written down and I can see and check off when I finish paying for stuff and finish completing tasks.
Still left to do:
-Finish attendant gifts
-Make the cake stand
-Make my birdcage veil
-Make the invitations for the Rehearsal Lunch
-Get our rings
-Get my shoes
-Get a gift for Gerard's parents
-Make the candy for the candy bar
-Buy the food
-Buy the stuff for our cupcakes and little cake to save
-Buy the bubbles for the guests and tie green ribbon around it
-Pay off Ashlee
-Pay for the location
-AND Make the middle centerpieces.
It seems like a lot, but some of the stuff can't be done until the week of the wedding (candy, cupcakes, and bubbles can be started, but Becka promised to help me finish) and the rest of it is just taking it one day at a time. I just want these 2 and a half months to go by quickly... Although I have a funny feeling they won't, just because I want it to.
I'm trying to take it event by event... Gerard's 21st birthday is on the 27th, then he's going to NYC to see his family for a week, and after that time should go by quickly. Now, just to get to his birthday without going insane...
